Review – Davosa Pares Chronograph
Like a good song of torch sung by an unknown pro, Davosa peels the stop watch recalls you that a well made good thing can return you to it hot feeling and tingly even if its step a true opus of holidays of Billie.
Peel ref. 161.446.44 is Valjoux 7750 stopwatch led with much class. Joined together in Switzerland of the internationally originating parts, this stainless steel stopwatch is smart without being too meddlesome and guilloched without resembling a gingerbread house.
The 7750 is stopwatch semi-evaluated plough horse and, with recognition, Davosa decided to evaluate their stopwatch, detail $1645, on an acceptable level all while always maintaining a whole of quality of components. The case is polished with a high glare and posting postpones behind exposes an own and not-modified movement and a signed rotor. The company, represented in the United States by David McCready, estimates a resistance to the water of 5 atmospheres, which could be a little much. We could see that the washing of the dishes in peels but soak can do it inside.
In terms of esthetics, peels massive and also acceptably is acceptably decorated. The face, a light money, blue increased numbers of devices and markers fraction of a second with a small window of date at 3 a.m. Registers, at the past minutes and the hours of exposure of midday and six hours while the register at three hours shows current occasion. Principal occasion shows passed seconds once activated.
The principal hands are frozen with the lume which lasts approximately two hours after a full load. All the hands are turned blue and polished but the meticulous hour and hands could have been slightly more sensitive to match the remainder of the face.
The crown and the push rods are given a treatment of part of currency-edge of starburst and are very easy to seize. The loop on the leather belt out of signed is heavy and the band itself is an attractive blue clouded with a softer leather of young cow on the interior.
During the month that we examined it, the piece lost approximately 10 seconds per day and held has approximately 20 hours of reservation after a few days of the heavy port. The stopwatch function was crunching and it was easy to withdraw and turn the crown. The buttons felt slightly hollow but the push was fast and clean.
Peel is a nice manner to join to the ranks of Valjoux 7750 owners. The 7750 is a marvellous movement with an astonishing rotation of rotor which really makes jump the carrier for the first time in the surprise. When the rotor peels really starts to turn, the whole piece starts with gimble and the gyre.
In short, Davosa created an interesting addition with any stopwatch collection in love one.
